After trying to find a suitable clipper for my two dogs (one Yorkie and one Shih Tzu), I gave up! There's just too much information on the web. I settled on a Wahl product for their reputation, and left it at that! After using the Wahl pocket trimmer for years (blades are now done), I decided to step-it-up a notch and splurge on this new model. After using it today for the first time - WOW - I'm impressed! My Yorkie actually sat for the whole thing! Usually tries to bite the clipper, having to take a few breaks, this used to take me at least 1 1/2 hours. Although this unit is much larger than the pocket unit, the noise didn't bother her! It also took much much less time (by at least half). The DVD that was included was also very useful. The scissors are sharp! extra bonus!

Wahl also provides an address to send the metal head for future sharpenings. Great investment - no throw away here!

Even though I used the non-corded version, if your battery is dead - length of the cord is very generous! Came in a nice plastic box with handle for easy storage. They could however have put dividers in the box for all the heads, etc. But at least all the stuff is in one place.

I would recommend this product to anyone. Fast and sharp, and didn't seem to bother my dog! Happy mom!

I actually bought this item to cut my children's hair. My uncle once recommended pet clippers because they are more durable. I had an earlier version of these Wahl clippers many years ago. When I needed to replace them, I couldn't find this precise rechargeable product and wasted a lot of money on "salon" clippers in the interim. I'm glad to be back with clippers that actually hold their charge, do the precise trimming, and make maneuvering easy because they're cordless.

This worked fine for a few months but then just stopped working. The problem was that one of the pins holding one of the gears came out. I have fixed the epilator 4 times now but it keeps breaking. Maybe it was just my bad luck to get one with a defect, I don't know. It seems to work okay when I can get it to work but I haven't used any other epilators yet so I have nothing to compare it to. I have never gotten a smooth shave out of it, a lot of the hairs break instead of being pulled out. It will do all the hair on your body but you'd better have a good pain tolerance for the sensitive areas the first time LOL.

UPDATE:

I sent an e-mail to epiladyusa just to see what they would do about my epilator. They sent me a new one! No hassles, just okay here you go! The problem I had with mine was one that just couldn't be fixed so that's why it kept breaking. Even after they knew I had opened the epilator up and tried to fix it myself they had no problem sending me a new one. Their customer service is top notch. They respond to e-mails within hours, not days like most companies and they act quickly. I already have my new one and it hasn't even been a week. This one sounds different than my other one so it really must have been defective. I have high hopes of this one working much better.

I highly recommend this epilator both because I like the style of it and because Epilady stands behind their products.

This epilator is cordles and this is one good thing about it.

I have been using epilators for at least 12 years and i had couple of them :old fashion Epilady, Philips x2 models and Braun. And i have to tell the best are Philips.

Epilady Legend it doesnt remove hair and is realy slow, my old Philips epilator had a lot of work to do after i used Epilady :( and i have to tell that Philips Satinelle is 12 years old and it doesnt work like when was brand new. Thats shame for Epilady Legends .

I am waiting for new Philips model and i will not try any others epilators! (and i hope my old one not gonna break)

I was very surprised by this product in many ways. As a first time used I was expecting it to be very painful all over. For me personally it was not painful on the legs or the underarms. I did get brave and tried it on the bikini area which was not that fun, and the arms which made me want to kill someone. So over all for pain was not as bad as I had expected. I was disappointed, however, that on the legs it did not remove all the hair. It took the coarser hair on my legs but even though some of the finer hairs were long enough I could not get that smooth feel that I desired. It does make them look smooth however so if that's what you are going for with this product, the appearance of smooth legs without the feel, then this is a great product for you.

I used to have a Brown epilator, an old one that worked well (and it still works). I had to move in another country and so (due to the voltage) I choose to buy the new one. I think it's very effective, expecially with a little bit longer hair. I'm not used to use the trimmer, but every part works as explained in the guidelines. The hardest part to pass over is the bikini line, but it's hard by itself, not due to the apparel.

Over the years I have tried several different brands and kinds of electric shavers. I was a bit skeptical trying this one, but the price was good and I decided to give it a shot.

It turned out to be the best shaver yet. It is comfortable to hold, the on/off button is easy to push even when wet, and it is so quiet compared to the others I was afraid it wasn't working at first. The battery charge lasts for weeks with occasional use. The trimmer is terrific for underarms, and with a little soap the main cutters give the closest shave for legs of any shaver I've had.

The only negative is that the cover of the cutters is a bit tricky to get off and on.

I will be looking for another one to buy when this one finally dies. I would highly recommend it.

I've never owned an electric shaver before, but this shave is comparable to the results I get with my razor in the shower. I've had my eye on my husband's shaver for awhile and was becoming quite jealous of the convenient shave experience.

I didn't try this wet or with shaving cream. It does take a few passes to get rid of the stubble, but my legs feel completely smooth after 10 minutes of shaving. It rinses clean and doesn't seem to require nearly as much maintenance as my standard razor.

I give this item a thumbs up. I have had mine for 2 years now. The difference between now and then is amazing. I usually spend no more than 1/2 hr using this and only have to use it once per week.I bought a NO No thinking that I wouldn't get the little red bumps but truth be told the No No only burns the hair off the surface and doesn't last for more than a couple days. I find that if I use a bath glove in the shower and then epilate it is much easier. The hair comes in so much softer and lighter. Some is completely gone after using for the last 2 years. I purchased mine from Sally's Beauty supply 2 years ago for $99, so this is a steal!

I bought this razor at a filene's near my home and without having read any of these reviews online. I still keep it as a back-up for when I lose my regular razor. It does work but it's not ideal for everyday maintnance. It will not easily trim morning stubble but it will work on hairs long enough to wax. You can use it for shorter stubble but it'll take you a few passes. It'll trim hairs short enough to feel but not see.

For me, as an emergency-only option, it's been worth the cost.

Unfortunately I bought it went it first came out at it's highest price! I thought it's Norelco it's got to be good! Wrong! The shaving guard thing in the middle got all warped from trying to take it off for cleaning and the blades on the top and bottom end serve NO purpose! It was like the shaver didn't shave any hair at all;not even close to a smooth shave! I was very dissapointed in Norelco and tossed this shaver into the trash can. I can't believe the testers at Norelco let this product go on the market! :(

I have very sensitive skin and shaving with a razor is painful, so I can only do it once a week. I saw a commercial for this razor and was leary, but I did some research and read some good reviews. I purchased the razor hoping that it would allow me to ditch the painful razor. Oh, I was so wrong! Please, don't buy this razor. It does not give a close shave at all! You have to go over spots over and over and still nothing happens. So, by the time you get done, your legs will still be hairy and they will be all red. It leaves stubble 1/8 of an inch long which totally looks like you haven't shaved. You can't wear shorts, swimsuits, nothing. Plus, the battery dies all time when I am in the middle of shaving, even though I charge it properly. If you are looking for a decent shave, this product will not help you.

I have had this shaver now for about 3 years, and it has been good. Thiry dollars to start, and the battery is holding up well. It does a fair job at shaving. OK, the other reviewers weren't so kind to the DA 307 model Remington Microscreen 2. I have used this razor for over a year and a half and have never had any problems. Granted, I am one of the lucky people that do not have extra-thick beards. It takes me well over 24 hours to get a decent "5 o'clock" shadow (and I am a 38 year-old Caucasian male). It has always provided me with a close, comfortable shave - not at all like the others here describe. I used to use Wahl electric shavers exclusively. This one made me 'convert' to Remington.... I am currently in the market for a replacement screen (the original one has lasted me this long) - and it's cheaper (on ebay) to buy a whole new razor than to buy a new screen.

I originally bought this for a bikini trimmer but after the eyebrow trimmer I ordered turned out to be a flop, I ended up trying this on my eyebrows as well. There's just enough lift to trim them a little bit without taking too much off, even then you can take off the guide and trim down further. I've also used it for spots that I miss during shaving as well, and even if it isn't totally smooth, it's still better. I've been considering getting another so I could have one exclusively for bikini trimming and the other for all the other uses it has.

Keep in mind this is a trimmer. It won't get it smooth, but it will cut the hair pretty close.

I read a review on Amazon about this product, which rated it very poorly. Despite that, I decided to give it a try. I had one of those $10 micro trimmers, but it was not doing a good job and I needed a new one.

Trusting Epilady to make a good product, I bought the Lady B. It has been doing a great job for me, and for the price, it must be the best trimmer out there. My friend had another large trimmer, but the epilady one is much more delicate, and I have never suffered from rashes or razor burns like I used to with other trimmers. This one is quiet and fast, and I am so ready for the warm weather now!

This little tool is even smaller than I expected but it is too cool. With the whole thing about an inch wide it is a convenient fit into the palm of your hand. Being so small makes it great for navigating tight curves and close spaces. From a strictly shaving/clipping/trimming perspective, it's as expected from a name like Wahl: Solid cutting device. No pulling or catching. The versatility is nice, too, as I was going to replace one of those cheap $10 eyebrow trimmers, but decided to go with this instead -- 10 times the functionality (with heads, guards, etc) for twice the price.

However... When applying, removing, or adjusting the five-level trimmer guard, the trimming head pops off, despite all efforts to hold it on. TAKE CARE to remove the head, then adjust. A pain, I know, but the "thread" that holds the head on is very shallow, and I can see it failing VERY quickly if you keep popping it off. It is, however, very solidly in place during trimming and shaving, so that's nice (and I'm going to keep it that way by not abusing that thread). Maybe the guide will loosen up with some further use.

Also, it's sooooo not a big deal, but the packaging is slightly inaccurate. While it's not on the package picture, the packaging and instruction booklet say it comes with a comb. Mine didn't -- Don't cry if yours doesn't. (don't tell anyone, but I wouldn't have used it anyway)

It also comes with a little tray... Useless as ___ on a bull. I would have much preferred a cheap little drawstring pouch for all the bits and bobs, but what can you do?

All in all, not a bad little item.

I got this because the rotary razors have always seemed to me like they'd deliver a smoother shave (being multi-directional). However, after 2-3 months of using it, I've decided it's pretty much useless for me. The shave is not any smoother than a normal electric shaver. Also, I've never had razor burn from any razor before, but this one gives me nasty burns on my armpits every time I use it there.

The real death knell for this shaver for me is that it takes many passes of it to shave my legs completely. My hair is fine, thin, and light colored, so I don't have to shave often, but when I do, I want it to go efficiently. The only pleasant part is that it feels a bit like a massager on my legs.

Overall, I can't recommend this razor. It's possible that it just does better on a different hair type than mine, but if you have fine/soft leg hair, skip this razor.

It works...sort of. I got this for Christmas and, as a person always looking for something better than a razor and shaving cream, I was really excited.

The shave isn't anywhere near as close as a standard razor, it leaves little stubblies of hair behind, sort of a day after shaving effect. It doesn't cut you, as promised, but that's about the best thing it has going for it. It left my skin really irritated, even with really nice shaving gels, and even after a couple weeks of use.

So, I'm back with my Venus, which is the best razor I've ever found. And the wet dry shaver has joined the corpses of my other 'miracle' hair removal products. It has joined the Nair, the Nads, the Veet and that barbaric little machine that just yanks your hair out by the roots.

If you don't mind a bumpy, stubbly finish, by all means, pick one of these babies up.

When researching this shaver one of the other Amazon reviews said that it had a nice wide trimmer. When I received it and opened the box I was disappointed to find out otherwise.

I tested this after not shaving my (very heavy) beard for three days, and it did amazingly well. 30 years ago I took the then current Braun battery-operated equivalent of this model with me to boot camp. Back then it was red (!) and included a mirror. I don't remember (big surprise) if it had a trimmer, but that would be the only thing it lacks.

Of course it was originally of German origin (and similar to the Ronson range), but now it's about as German made as any American or English product - MADE IN CHINA.

It's a great value at around $20, so travel with confidence, go to that meeting late in the day, on that hot date for which there's no time to go home after work..yup - it's a good 'un.

This is a great razor. It says wet and dry, but for me it works better dry. I shave my legs, underarms and *ahem*....the bikini area, no problem, the razor still is sharp shaves well after 5 years..and counting!!

It has two levels to adjust to get how far you want to shave. I purchased mine through Walmart years ago, they don't have it now. Amazon is the place to go!!! This is the third time in 6 years I bought this shaver because I like it (eventually the rechargeable battery wears out, and it's cheaper to buy a new shaver then replace the battery). I don't mind spending $20-$30 every 2-3 years to buy a new one. It's reliable, portable, and it does the job. I have really thick black hair on my legs, and this shaver works well with it even when the hair gets longer. I mostly use it dry, but it can be used in the shower as well. Consumer Reports says that all womens shavers they tested perform poorly compared to mens shavers, and there is no reason why a woman could not use a men's shaver, but good men's shavers cost 3 times more than this Remington, so I stick with it.

This is my first epilator. I was a bit skeptical, but it's great! I chose this one because of the wet/dry use, but I rarely use it in the shower because it seems to work better dry, and I live in a dorm, and the noise is kind of awkward when showering in a stall next to someone... I have light skin so after shaving you could still see dark spots, this solved the problem! It does break some hairs at the surface, and hair grows at different rates so I have to use it fairly often, but it's worth it! You do get used to the pain.I really like the triple head, I rarely use the smaller head that is like most other epilators. This is well worth the money!

Ok, I just got this today and just tried it out for the first time - and I cannot believe how awesome it is! So awesome in fact that I had to come and leave a review. At 5 in the morning. I'm a college student, and it's been a looooong night, and yet I went ahead and tried out what I thought would be a torture device? Yeah, what can I say, must be the sleep deprivation. But I'm so glad I did!!!

Ok, so there are some things you should know about me - I have never used an epilator before, I have never waxed, and in fact, I have never even shaved. I've been blessed with the common Asian trait of little body hair, so I've always just relied on a dab of nair or veet to take care of things. However, the only place I really needed hair removal were the underarms, and the creams just don't do the trick! And also, I am a TOTAL wimp when it comes to pain - I still live in horror of getting shots at the doctor's, so yeah, after ordering this, I kinda thought there was a 90% chance I would try it once and never ever go near one again.

So anyway, I get in the shower, and I am so nervous, and I start cringing as I bring the epilator towards me, and I'm ready to scream, and then - nothing! Just a little pinch! I swear, I could not believe it!!! I went ahead and did both underarms, and it seriously DID NOT HURT. Anyway, I totally love this thing, and I would recommend it to everyone!!!!!

This epilator definitely works; however, it kills!....I bought this primarily for my legs, but i use it much more often on my underarms. I thought my underarms would hurt more than my legs, but it doesnt! The first time on my underarms hurt the most but after that it wasnt bad at all. However, my legs are a different story. The front part of my legs do not hurt that much but the sides and the back of my leg (calf area) absolutely kills!

I purchased this razor based on the great reviews that other customers gave it and the fact that I'm tired of constantly having to change razor blades in my manual all of the time. So I gave this one a shot. I was really excited to give this a try that as soon as it was charged, I got right out of bed and turned it on. It wasn't really loud like I expected, and it was great to get such a close shave so quickly. However, this close shave only lasted for about an hour or two and I could feel stubble on my legs. I thought that maybe my legs just needed to get used to shaving with something new, so I kept at it for a week with the same results:close shave for only a little while. I guess my legs are just different. This would be great for those of you whose hair doesn't grow back quickly, and if it does, don't mind shaving every waking minute.

I bought this razor after reading a ton of reviews. Most of them were encouraging so I went ahead. My previous razor was awful...it wouldn't hold a charge long enough to get both legs done! This razor has held a charge for TWO full shavings without even being recharged between uses! I love it! One reviewer suggested using a circular motion when shaving legs. I agree; it work's best since the hair grows in different directions. It's a comfortable shave, easy to clean and gives a smooth finish. I did get a very slight rash after the first use, but nothing since. I only use this on my legs, so can't speak to anywhere else. I also have not tried it wet. It works great dry, but I do need to moisturize afterwards. Well worth the money!

After reading countless reviews and remembering how horrible the old epilators were, I was apprehensive about purchasing one. Two seconds after starting to use it, I could not be more pleased. The attachments are easy to use, the instructions are helpful and no, it does not hurt that much. I use it for legs, underarms and bikini line. The shaving attachment really helps for the latter.

It will not get your legs completely hair free like a razor--there's always a couple stubborn ones that just won't come off--but it does a 98% job and the hair takes days to grow back in to where it's noticable to the touch and a good 10-14 days before you need to use the epilator again.

Bonus--It is also dual voltage, so will work in 220 as well if get an outlet adapter.

If you want an epilator, this is the one to get.

Having sensitive skin -i swore never to use an epilator again (after i tried a friends no name epilator.ouch!)

but...i hated shaving my legs every day- and my skin agreed in another option. waxing my legs left them looking like ground beef for 1-2 days, so i was considering epilation again.

I read about the silk epil easy start set and gave it a shot.

Its great to have the optional attachment to start your first epilation with less tweezers. it was far less painful than waxing and after the first strokes i changed to the regular-tweezer attachment (which plugs more hair per stroke).

the only thing i feel is a very, very slight discomfort.

Afterwards I put some aloe on my legs and i am ready to go.

(there are tiny red spots- but they only last for 2 hours. then they are gone completely!)

My legs are shiny and my skin look its best.

To make sure the hair is not growing in- i exfoliate twice a week with a loofa.

The epilation lasts in my case for 2 weeks and the new hair is very soft.

Im fine with epilating twice a month and would never go back to shaving :)

...if it worked, there would be dozens of other units for sale from other companies in stores everywhere. When something works and would be popular (and painless permanent hair removal WOULD be popular), tons of other companies want their slice of the profit pie. So they make their own electrolysis pen so they can reap the benefits too. Do you see 10 different brands of electrolysis pens out on the shelves? Nope, because it doesn't work.

I started electrolysis treatments 18 months ago. Then I saw this pen and thought I could save myself a lot of money so I bought it and stopped going. Well 4 months later I started going back to the appointments because it just didn't work. She had been doing my chin and was going to start on my upper lip when I stopped going. I told her why I cancelled and she asked me to bring the electrolysis pen in for her to look at. She told me that there is no way possible enough current gets to the hair follicle in order to kill it with this pen. It could possibly work to permanently remove the hair but it would take SEVERAL YEARS since the current is so weak. She also said, which makes perfect sense, that if there were a way for her to do her electrolysis totally painlessly don't you think she'd be using it?? She'd have a hell of a lot more customers thats for sure!

Well we did a test. It was time to start on my upper lip and she could only do one section at a time so she did one side of my lip and I used the pen on the other. The difference was HUGE! My side had absolutely no change after 2 months and her side had 20%+ reduction in hair (permanent removal) and 50% of the other hair was growing back in significantly thinner.

So the electrolysis pen could possibly give you some permanent hair removal after several YEARS of use, but regular electrolysis gives you a 20% reduction in hair, permanently, after 2-3 months. After several years, you should be rid of all your unwanted hair with regular electrolysis and not POSSIBLY A SMALL PORTION like you would with this electrolysis pen.

I have had good luck with this product. It's much cheaper and more convenient than going for electrolysis. But it doesn't work the first time or even the second time. The hair needs to be treated several times for it to disappear completely. But each time a hair grows back, its lighter. So the darker the hair, the more treatments it will need. Unfortunately there's no quick fix for unwanted hair but this product is a big help for me.

I was very happy with this razor, for a short time.

The cadmium battery that comes with the charger has a very limited useful life.

Cadmium batteries, for those who do not know, have a "memory".

Unlike Nickel Metal Hydride batteries, the Cadmium batteries do not charge back to 100% and will continually decrease its charge capabilities over time.

My razor did not make it past the 6 month mark. I will charge it for days, and it will feel like the battery is charged at about 20%. 20% power does not effectively work.

Do Not Buy! Get a corded razor, or one with a Nickel Metal Hydride battery.

I've been using a razor for most of my life, with the exception of about a year of using a rotary in my teens. Like many men, I can't stand shaving, so I thought I'd try this shaver as it had good reviews. I've been using this for about three months, and now I'd like to review it.

I don't have a thick beard but it grows pretty quickly, and I found I had to go from shaving every other day to using this shaver daily. I also have curly hair, so I'm not sure that makes a difference.

The shaver does a very good job of quickly cutting the hair on my face. Unfortunately, it does a terrible, terrible job around the neck. When it's fresh off the charger and has plenty of power, it can get most of the hair, but usually it leaves dozens of tiny little hairs that need to be trimmed down. Then it gives terrible irritation as I try to get the remaining hairs. I have tried different directions, little circles, holding it upside down, pulling the skin, pushing hard, barely touching, and it's always a terrible job on the neck.

I found it helps to either pat my face or the foil with baby powder, as that makes the shaving go much smoother. Lectric Shave didn't do anything for me good or bad. And if I go more than a few days without charging, it slows down and does a worse job.

I tried shaving with a blade again but that caused a lot of irritation. Overall, I liked the shave on the face but not on the neck. Unfortunately, I tossed the box so I wasn't able to return this, but I just picked up a Norelco rotary to see how I like it in comparison. It has some larger slots that should get the longer hairs so hopefully that works better.

I admit I got this rather on speculation because I was hoping it would provide a quick and easy solution to a woman's occasional lip or chin hair. It didn't work at all for that. It really is hard to find products suitable for women's facial hair and yet it's a pretty common problem. Ah well. Back to the razors designed for young men I guess.

This razor is nice looking, but it's a discontinued model. That's important because when it wouldn't charge up we called Remington. They had us find a number on the inside of the unit which indicated the battery was old enough to be shot and unable to hold a charge. Very disappointing. Great looking, but performance is mute due to not being able to ever use it. Don't waste your time and money. I am used to an electric shaver. Its a pain to have to recharge this. It can not be used while being charged. but this shaver works great. It is identical to the hammacher schlemmer "best rechargeable shaver" but this was 1/2 the price. I dont like to loose a charge in the middle of a shave. However, I selected this product to replace a 45 year old electric which was ready upon plugging in anytime anywhere so it is my fault.I had to replace it because i dropped it and it shattered. But i love this shaver now......its unreal and shaves very closely so i dont have to shave as often.....i would buy it again.

I purchased this electric razor because I was tired of putting all the chemicals on my face when shaving with a old school razor. Plus there is the environmental aspects of not throwing blades away that make the electric more appealing..

I purchased this razor because of the fact that it was wet/dry and had good reviews for the price. The last electric razor I had was a top of the line Norelco I purchased in 2000... that thing would often snag my beard hair and boy did it hurt! So, I threw it through a window and I went back to shaving with a blade.

With the old school way of shaving, I am one to shave in the shower as I find I get a better shave. However after trying various shaving conditions with this razor, I use it when I am completely dry. However the fact that this unit is wet/dry makes cleaning it a breeze.

Upon my first few weeks this thing tore up my face as the manual stated might happen... but once my skin adjusted I was fine and am able to shave with it everyday.... I also found that once my skin adjusted, my shaving goes much quicker than it first took... Still takes a minute or two longer than with a blade...

Also, I read through a lot of reviews about this razor not doing so great on the neck. I have to agree which is the reason I only give this thing 4 stars... I find even now after my skin has adjusted I have to move the thing.. **TIP** When you shave your neck, move this thing in circles rather than linearly as the manual specifies... I found spinning it in circles on my neck got those rogue hairs it missed when I moved it in a linear direction

I bought this about a month ago and have not had to change the batteries yet (I do take them out between uses). The trimmer is easy to use though you have to make the hair stand up right under the blade for it to cut. It does not nick and works well in tight spaces on the body. Cleaning is easy, but I have to clean it twice during each use. It does not come with a case, so buy your own (I got a pencil case from Target for it).

I am a dark skinned indian girl cursed with black, thick facial hair. I bought this to use while I went away to school to keep my eye brows trimmed and my upper lip, chin, and cheek hair free. My mom noticed that on all the areas where I was using this, my skin was starting to develop dark, shadowy spots (similar to a guy after shaving). I stopped using it every where besides trimming my eye brows (careful about over doing it though). The dark spots are taking a LONG time to go away but now I thread and tweeze. Please do note that this is my personal experience and it could just be my skin that had this type of a reaction. It could also be something else entirely.

I finally got tired of waxing & sugaring - too much pain for a week of smoothness and three weeks of stubble as I wait for the hair to be long enough to endure torture again, depilatories & razor shaving irritate my skin and laser takes too much time & money for me...which pretty much left trying a shaver. I chose this model and a month later, here I am happy as a...well as happy as a shaver can make a girl. This produces a result for me that is equilivant to using a razor + 8 hours: no visible stubble and still pretty smooth to the touch. Surprisingly, I get the best and smoothest results on my bikini line, where the results are even better than that of a razor. I also use it on my underarms, it does leave a faint shadow from direct on but for that matter, so does a razor. I suppose if I had a special occasion, I might break out my old Venus but otherwise this is my go-to hair removal for the day-to-day. I am amazed by how close this thing can get, it takes me about 10 minutes to do my legs, underarms and bikini line and no more ingrown hairs or razor bumps. YAY!!!

I bought this set as part of a promotion with a mail-in-rebate, and for the price I paid, It was a good deal. The clippers work pretty well, however often start to make a VERY loud buzzing noise while in use; this is resolved by applying pressure to the metal plate (annoying). As for the included trimmer - might as well throw it away. Even with brand new batteries, the thing lacks power to reliably cut hair without pulling.
